AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment) is required for activities with significant impacts. UKL-UPL (Environmental Management & Monitoring Efforts) is for activities with non-significant impacts. DELH (Environmental Evaluation Document) is for significant-impact activities already operating without AMDAL. DPLH (Environmental Management Document) is for non-significant-impact activities already operating without UKL-UPL.
AMDAL must be prepared if your business activity is on the list of activities requiring AMDAL under the Minister of Environment Regulation. This generally applies to large-scale projects such as major factory construction, mining, power plants, toll roads, etc. Contact us for a consultation on whether your activity requires AMDAL.
RKL (Environmental Management Plan) and RPL (Environmental Monitoring Plan) are integral parts of the AMDAL document. Detailed RKL-RPL is needed for the construction and operational stages of an activity, containing detailed plans for environmental impact management and monitoring.
Yes, AMDAL can be revised through the Environmental Approval Amendment process. This is necessary when there are significant changes to activities that affect environmental impact predictions, such as changes in production capacity, technology, or location.
