Detailed RKL RPL for the GIIC Area

PT CRRC Times Electric Drive Technology Indonesia is a tenant in a real estate business managed by PT SAIC International Indonesia. This business is intended for the Wuling automotive component supplier industry, manufactured by PT SGMW International Indonesia.

The business is located in the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) area, Block BA No. 2, Deltamas City, Sukamahi Village, Central Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency.

In accordance with government policy on environmental protection and management, as stipulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 and Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021, every business and/or activity with the potential to impact the environment is required to obtain an Environmental Approval. For business activities within industrial areas, compliance with this environmental approval is required through the preparation of a Detailed Environmental Management Plan (RKL-RPL), which refers to the Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) and Environmental Approval documents held by the area manager.

The preparation of this Detailed Environmental Management Plan (RKL-RPL) document aims to formulate measurable and sustainable environmental management and protection efforts and strategies, both within the activity site and in the surrounding environment.

In implementing this project, the team of experts conducted a series of activities, including :

• Review of the Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) and Environmental Approval documents for the GIIC Area.

• Identification of sources of environmental impacts from electric motor industry activities.

• Preparation of a detailed RKL and RPL matrix based on the characteristics of the activity and area.

• Preparation of Technical Details for the Temporary Hazardous Waste Storage Site (TPS) in accordance with statutory provisions.

• Technical coordination with the area manager and relevant agencies.

• Finalization of documents to meet Environmental Approval requirements.

With the preparation of this Detailed RKL-RPL and Technical Details for the Hazardous Waste TPS, PT CRRC Times Electric Drive Technology Indonesia's activities can be carried out legally, in a controlled manner, and in accordance with environmental protection principles.
